Hello everyone!
Sorry for not posting much, been so busy this past year and I completely neglected my blog which really shouldn't happen.
I have a few plans sorted for this blog, which will include some figurine reviews as well as a few odd bits thrown in which could be anything really
It's nearly Halloween so I figured to try out carving a pumpkin this year, it will be my second one this time around, last year I actually done a good job with it (scary face & all), so this time round it will be a pumpkin with a happy face, hopefully it will turn out well.
I haven't been putting up pictures at all on my blog due to the fact that my camera was broken just in July and it took awhile to get repaired, thankfully that's all sorted now and I can upload as my pictures as I can.
So watch out for my blog anytime soon, I'll try to post every week if I can with new things getting thrown in, I might even do some story's involving my Nendoroids!

Pre-Order spree of figurines
It's been awhile since I have posted on my blog, so today I'll be talking about the spending spree to which I have done over the past couple of weeks or so.
Whenever I see a fantastic designed figurine, I just immediately have to purchase it without realising that it will burn a whole in my wallet for days to come, but it doesn't help when you have purchased your figurine, and the next day another one comes around and it looks even better than the one you previously ordered, an endless cycle this one..
So far I have purchased four figurines and I do plan to stop, because they are getting expensive over the years and the Currency Exchange rate is quite bad at the moment, maybe next year when I have a stable job I can plan on getting more, but for now I'm making a stop this year on purchasing any more figurines.
I'll be posting up the four figurines to which I have purchased, and they are in order due to the release dates.
{ Figurine List }
This is one of the figurines to which I have purchased, she is called Naoe Kanetsugu and she is from the anime Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls.
The company who have produced the figurine is called Penguin Parade, not a well known figurine company but they have made an excellent quality figurine right here so I just had to pre-order.
It's release date is October so look out for my little review on this particular figurine, and I'll make sure to take photo's of her outside too!
Next on my list is Nendoroid Nymph from the popular anime Sora no Otoshimono Forte, one of the most cute Nendoroid's have seen to date, and she comes with her own little items too!
Good Smile Company are quite popular when it comes to making Nendoroids so no wonder that
they have made an excellent choice for Nymph to be put as a Nendoroid.
She comes with three expressions - a standard smiling face, an angry face struggling to hide her embarrassment and finally a chibi face, for all the famous chibi scenes from the anime.
She also comes with optional parts including a packet of chips for her to munch on, as well as a choice between her normal wings and her cut wings - giving you all sorts of different ways to display her!
I am particularly looking forward to this little Nendoroid, will make some good stories with her soon as she arrives through the door!
And here's another Nendoroid I have purchased, and probably my last due to the amount it costs to ship over, it's the lead character Millhoire F. Biscotti from the anime Dog Days, you can already tell that the quality of this figurine shows out with this one.
She comes with a set of expressions, as well as some optional parts including a microphone to recreate the scenes in which she sings.
She also comes with the beloved feathered friend, Harlan.
You can even let her ride Harlan using the included extra parts, which can give you a whole range of different poses to choose from!
I will be probably using Millhore in my Nendoroid Stories a lot more than my previous nendoroids, due to the amount of poses and different things you can do with her and her feathered friend, another Nendoroid I cannot wait for!
Saved the best for last really, and it's no wonder that I did, she stands out a lot more than the other ones do ^^
Her name is Dizzy and she is from the ever so popular fighting game Guilty Gear Accent XX Core, which I would recommend if you are into those type of fighting games.
The company that has made her is called Alter, and they are renowned for making such beautiful quality in figurines, and this one is one of their popular ones to date.
Her size is 1/8 scale, which is bigger than any figurine I have in my room, but she will stand out from the rest due to her striking yet elegant appearance, her re-release date is December so it's kind of like an early Christmas present to me really ^^
That's all of the figurines I plan to purchase this year, and I can imagine that in 2012 there will be yet more amazing figurines just waiting to be announced, and I will be there to purchase every last one of them, well depends on my wallet really :<

Nymph Kotobukiya and the Outdoor Life
Hello everyone~!
I was quite excited today just for the fact that my Nymph Kotobukiya figurine was delivered today through ParcelForce, and yet again had to pay for Customs Fee, oh how I just love to fork over an extra £28 just for them to deliver it to my doorstep.
But enough of that, I decided to go outdoors with my figurine, something to which I was quite new to, not only that it was difficult for me to get a good shot outside, it would look weird for someone passing by me whilst taking photo's of a figurine, so was a bit nervous on my part, but eventually got some good photo's :)
And here she is nestled in some grass, probably one of the best places I could find that was good enough to take pictures at the Perchy Pond but that didn't bother me, I just had to take some lovely photo's of Nymph ^^
One of my favourite photo's of Nymph, she looks at peace just sitting there within the grass, had to get some pictures of her with flowers, but there wasn't any at this point during the walk ; ;
An overhead shot of Nymph with the sun shining in, tried to get more photo's around Nymph with the sun, but unfortunately had a lot of cloud cover, only shot I could have taken.
Some more photo's of Nymph nestled within the grass, felt bad that I didn't take some back shots of her wings during the trip, but I was still nervous at the time taking the photo's, so I had to be quick xD

Nice day out
Since it was a nice day today I decided to go to the local park and also take my camera with me to test it outdoors :)
Spotted a lovely Butterfly just resting amongst the leaves whilst I was passing by, decided to take a good picture of it, thankfully it stayed in that position as I was taking the shot ^^
Further on during the walk I noticed a Damselfly passing by me, I just had to follow it and take some photo shots, but unfortunately my dog kept on going in front of it making it fly further away from me (silly dog), but managed to take a photo before it flew away again.
This may seem like a clutter of plants and grass, but in fact there is a grasshopper amongst all that green, see if you can spot it, I'll give you a clue however (it's right in the middle), it's pretty much camouflaged in there since it's also green too ^^
A lovely photo of some plants which had some lovely colour on them, I also noticed once I'd taken the picture that there was a lovely blue butterfly on top of the plants so that was an added bonus I think!
And to end it off I managed to get a photo of a nice walkway which went through a field, and also got a photo of my dog Maddy running up to me at full speed, she really enjoys a good walk and thankfully there is such a place near my home which has some lovely wildlife there ^^
There are more photo's of The Perchy Pond, but it would just fill up the page of my blog really, these were my best shots for the day and I think it's time for me to have a nice cold refreshing drink after a long walk!

New Nendoroid Arrives!
After a good few months since I have pre-ordered Snow Miku: Playtime Edition she finally arrived through my door, was so excited for her arrival, more importantly it's a limited edition Nendoroid.
This post is actually quite late since I was out for the week, went to stay with a mate of mine and played most of our Ps3/Xbox360 games, was rather fun I must say, but anyway back to the Nendoroid!
And here is Snow Miku, all compact in her lovely box she comes in, you can see the little snowflakes on the front of the box which is a lovely effect ^^
And this is what you see on the back of the box, you can still see the plastic wrapping is still on the package (not for long though!) and you can also see the different poses you can make her do with the new moveable parts (which I have still to see a nendoroid with!)
Now since this nendoroid was meant to celebrate this year's Sapporo Snow Festival in Japan they have added an ice-cube tray to which you can have your very own Miku Hatsune Ice-Cubes, I spin my ice-cubes with the ice-leek now ^^
And here she is out of her box, as you can see she comes with the two-other faces you can customise with, and also the snowman which comes with it's very own Ice-Leek, but of course Snow Miku comes with an Ice-Leek also.
And there we are, she is finally out of her box and ready to pose, giving me a wave and a little hello ^^
She was rather shy at first, to which I thought was cute, then she held out her hand, I imagined it was meant to be a greeting so I gladly shook her hand, well with my finger anyway...
Then I shouted over to my first Snow Miku to meet her new friend, again Snow Miku #2 was very shy at first, but Snow Miku #1 went ahead and held her hand, just to comfort her that she's safe in her new home!
Snow Miku #2 went ahead to show Snow Miku #1 her Snow-Man, to which both were amazed to see!, They were both contemplating to why it has an Ice-Leek sticking out of it's body, but to be honest, I was just happy that both of them were getting along!
As Snow Miku #1 left to meet up with her sisters, Snow Miku #2 was shouting on her to come back with her Ice-Leek (which was still in her box..)
Snow Miku #1 was explaining to Race Queen Miku and Miku Hatsune that they have a new friend in their home, and she urges them to greet her, as always Race Queen Miku & Miku Hatsune is always happy to make new friends so they decided to stop whatever they were doing and join Snow Miku #1
Snow Miku #2 was giving out the introductions about Snow Miku #1 since she was quite shy compared to her friend, but she does wave back to Race Queen Miku & Miku Hatsune!
And as always the sisters were so happy to meet their new friend, even though she didn't talk much, but I can safely say she will come out of her shell with the sisters on board, since they talk non-stop..

As Race Queen Miku drives off into the distance to get the shopping done for today's events, Snow Miku #2 shouts "Drive Safely!", meanwhile behind her Snow Miku #1 & Miku Hatsune had everything planned for Snow Miku #2's events, but as they were about to go over to talk to her..
Disaster has struck as a road-block was in the way of Race Queen Miku and has crashed!
(The road-block has made a sudden get-a-way after the incident, don't know how that happens but it did!)
Everyone was so shocked to see the incident unfold, they had to get there and fast to see if she wasn't seriously hurt!!
Snow Miku #2 got right to the scene and was still in shock to see her friend crash right in-front of her, she didn't know what to do since she didn't have a phone on her to call an emergency line!
As Miku Hatsune & Snow Miku #1 enters the scene, Miku Hatsune starts to cry over her sister lying down and with her eyes closed, Snow Miku #2 was still in panic still not knowing what to do, but her friend Snow Miku #1 handed her phone over to Snow Miku #2 to call 999!
As she phones the emergency line, she explains to the man over the other end of the phone to how the incident happened and what injuries Race Queen Miku had, as she was still on the phone the Ambulance arrives just in the nick of time!
As everyone was waiting in the waiting room, Nurse Nerine came into the room telling them that their friend was going to be just fine, she only suffered minor bruising in her neck and she will have to say in hospital for a couple of days to check if there aren't any more fractures or bruising in her body.
To which everyone was relived that their sister was going to be ok, Snow Miku #2 was so glad that her friend hasn't received any fatal injuries and she knows that now she will make a full recovery!
Race Queen Miku was sound asleep so they could not visit her, but when she feels better they can check-up on her to see how she is progressing, to this day I hope things will turn out good for them!

New Beginnings
Hello everyone!
This is my first time trying out a blog, so if it's either short or long for anyone's standards please forgive me.
I'm going to talk about myself aswell as what I actually plan to do on my blog, so here it goes..
Well as you might know at the top of the blog, my name is Gordon and I'm actually quite shy to be honest but I can be outgoing at times.
One of my hobbies is figurine collecting which I can never stop doing since it's addictive for me, whenever I see a figurine I like I just have to go & buy it (then cry when I realise how much it was) but it's what I enjoy!
I like playing games whenever I feel bored, these games consist of mainly RPG games or Rhythm games which I just love, I'll be posting pictures of the games I have whenever I have the time to do so on my blog!
What I also like is animals, I like to look up on the internet or whenever possible read the newspaper for anything that is animal related, which is one of the reasons why I bought a camera at the weekend!
I actually plan to put up photo's of wildlife and also strangely enough of my figurine collection (an odd combination I know..) but since I just got my new camera (Samsung ST95) I plan to do more photography, I might even try out some of my drawings too, so look out for them on my blog!
When I have enough experience with my camera I plan to do join a Camera Club or go to College for a Photography course next year (fingers crossed).
My blog will be more of a weekly basis rather than daily, so sorry if you were expecting a daily blog, but I will change my mind whenever I'm more active ^^
