Nice day out

Since it was a nice day today I decided to go to the local park and also take my camera with me to test it outdoors :)

Spotted a lovely Butterfly just resting amongst the leaves whilst I was passing by, decided to take a good picture of it, thankfully it stayed in that position as I was taking the shot ^^

Further on during the walk I noticed a Damselfly passing by me, I just had to follow it and take some photo shots, but unfortunately my dog kept on going in front of it making it fly further away from me (silly dog), but managed to take a photo before it flew away again.

This may seem like a clutter of plants and grass, but in fact there is a grasshopper amongst all that green, see if you can spot it, I'll give you a clue however (it's right in the middle), it's pretty much camouflaged in there since it's also green too ^^

A lovely photo of some plants which had some lovely colour on them, I also noticed once I'd taken the picture that there was a lovely blue butterfly on top of the plants so that was an added bonus I think!

And to end it off I managed to get a photo of a nice walkway which went through a field, and also got a photo of my dog Maddy running up to me at full speed, she really enjoys a good walk and thankfully there is such a place near my home which has some lovely wildlife there ^^


There are more photo's of The Perchy Pond, but it would just fill up the page of my blog really, these were my best shots for the day and I think it's time for me to have a nice cold refreshing drink after a long walk!
